Journeyman Logistician

Job Responsibilities: This position supports the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst SE Department, In-Service Support Team (ISST) in providing logisticand technical support services associated with the acquisition, design, development, fielding, and sustainment of Support Equipment (SE). Tasksinclude analyzing and coordinating the ongoing logistical functions of Navy SE. Duties involve providing full life cycle support of SE, includingacquisition, distribution, internal allocation, delivery, and final disposal of resources. Other tasks include generating resolutions to SE problems;reviewing and preparing logistics and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and related documentation; and attending program/technicalmeetings. Some travel will be required. Positional duties may include other tasks on an as-needed basis. Position is located at NAS Patuxent River,MD and includes a hybrid (in-office and telework) work environment. Requisition #ESI0097.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Requires an BA/BS degree and at least (6) years of experience in acquisition and sustainment logistics or engineering, with two (2)years experience performing logistics program management. ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION: Eight (8) years of military experience may be substituted for a BS or BA degree.
• Must be a US citizen, have a valid state drivers license, and must possess an active DoD Secret-level security clearance.
• An SE-related background and experience with Naval Air Technical and Engineering Command (NATEC), Joint Deficiency Reporting System (JDRS), and Web Federal Logistics Information System (WebFLIS) is preferred.
• Military veterans with aviation SE experience are highly encouraged to apply.
