Eastern Suffolk BOCES Enrichment Teacher (Daily) (PT) - East Islip in Patchogue, New York
POSITION: Enrichment Teacher (Daily) (PT) – East Islip
PROGRAM: Serve as a daily homework assistance teacher for the ESBOCES School Year Enrichment Program at various locations in the East Islip UFSD K-5 buildings
LOCATIONS: East Islip, NY Islip Terrace, NY
HOURS: Typically range between 3:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. daily, Monday - Thursday, September - June
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Facilitate and maintain effective instruction and academic support during the mandatory homework/reading periods, enrichment lessons, and special events
Monitor students to provide adequate supervision and a safe environment; including following health and safety guidelines outlined by the district
Provide communication with parents, staff, and ESBOCES School Year Enrichment Directors
May also facilitate weekly special activities/projects for additional hours (per diem)
START DATE: September 6, 2023
SALARY: $22.95/hour (when school is in session)
