Job Description
The Financial Analyst, reporting to the Finance Manager, will be part of the Zurn Elkay Platform and will be based in Paso Robles, CA as part of the Wilkins Finance team. This role will be responsible for supporting the Finance team in consolidating, planning, analyzing, and reporting financial results.
Key Accountabilities
Monitors financial and business KPI’s throughout the month and produces consolidated reports; summarizing and analyzing actual results against forecast and budget.
Responsible for various month-end closing responsibilities. Review P&L activity for completeness and accuracy. Reviews and analyzes variances including conducting root cause analysis as needed.
Participates in successful completion of both internal and external audit requests.
Maintains standard costs and performs monthly PPV analysis.
Supports execution of annual physical inventory process.
Identifies and implements continuous improvement activities to drive efficiencies in both role and department. Supports continuous improvement activities to drive efficiencies in operations.
Supports Controller with special projects and ad-hoc analysis as requested.
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in accounting/finance/business or related field.
2-3 years experience in financial functions with a manufacturing company.
Demonstrated ability of performing financial planning & analysis.
Demonstrated ability to educate non-financial associates on basic financial principles.
Thorough knowledge of MS Office Suite and ERP systems in general.
Excellent organizational, planning, and communication skills.
Strong problem solving, analytical skills and the ability to balance multiple tasks simultaneously.

Total Base Pay Range: $60K-$100K Base
