Lincoln Technical Institute Regional Facilities Manager in Parsippany-Troy Hills, New Jersey

Lincoln Tech's Corporate Office is seeking a Regional Facilities Manager who will be responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and supervising the provisioning of the physical operation of buildings within the assigned region. In this role, you will work to develop streamlined processes and procedures that drive efficiency and cost improvements across assigned campus locations. Serves as the SME for all facilities-related matters within the region. While based in NJ, this role will include up to 75% travel to our campuses throughout the U.S. as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates moves and facilities projects with the appropriate staff, including operations, marketing, corporate education, IT, external vendors/contractors, and others as necessary to ensure efficient and effective facilities management, utilizing project management tools to track and communicate progress.

  • Responsible for overseeing the maintenance of facilities within the geographical region and responding to emergency situations. Provides backup support to Facilities' point of contact in schools as needed, including travel to sites as necessary to accomplish responsibilities.

  • Assists in organizing, managing, inspecting, and following up on the progress of assigned projects

  • Works with facilities managers, vendor/service providers, and others to assess needs and obtain and evaluate quotes cost-effectively.

  • Supports campuses with security, safety, and risk assessment insurance initiatives.

  • Supports Corporate Real Estate to create/maintain new budget tracking tools and participates in various types of process improvement activities and initiatives taken by the CRE Department.

  • Works with corporate real estate (CRE) data management tools, including but not limited to PeopleSoft system for financial document management, invoices, purchase orders, and capital expense budget approvals.

  • Bachelor's degree in related field preferred. Will consider candidates with significant industry experience in lieu of a degree

  • 5+ years of previous hands-on experience within the facilities industry required

  • Proven hands-on industry experience and thorough understanding of building-related codes/standards

  • Ability to accomplish projects independently, with minimal supervision, along with the ability to think outside the box and recommend smart and cost-effective solutions

  • Ability to lead effectively within a remote environment. Good written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Execution-oriented with a passion for success and growth within the organization

  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills. High sense of urgency and attention to detail

  • Working understanding of MS Office products

  • Should reside within reasonable commuting range of Parsippany NJ
