Job Title: Senior Accountant

$40-$55/Hour

Parsippany, NJ

Schedule: Tuesday–Thursday onsite; transitioning to 4 days onsite in September

Job Description:

Seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Senior Accountant to join the Finance team. This role is responsible for performing general ledger activities, month-end close tasks, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, sound judgment, and a proactive approach to process improvement and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and quarterly fluctuation analyses

• Lead month-end close activities and support budget, audit, and tax requirements

• Partner with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and reporting

• Assist with testing for system enhancements and document process updates

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA preferred)

• 4–6 years of experience in Accounting or Finance (public accounting a plus)

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Google Workspace, and ERP systems (SAP, PeopleSoft)

• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and time management

• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
