Summary: The GAF Business Process Excellence team is expanding and searching for a core member to support our efforts to define and drive the future end-to-end system & processes at GAF.

He/She will work to help push the organization beyond today’s problems to visualize and build an ideal state to support systems for tomorrow’s GAF, today!

Essential Duties:

  • Facilitate & support process improvement Kaizens and workshops, including business process reengineering sessions, brainstorming sessions, and various process improvement events.

  • Help develop appropriate metrics, including key performance indicators (KPIs), critical success factors (CSFs), and performance measures.

  • Lead process design, documentation, development, and workflow designs.

  • Gather, mine, and analyze data to drive business process improvements using Lean, or like process improvement programs.

  • Lead process owners, stakeholders, and subject matter experts through the improvement process and manage expectations.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on awareness and training efforts

  • Research, analyze, and make recommendations to optimize performance through process improvement

Under This Roof, We Require

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Math, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Science, or IT

  • 5+ years experience with process improvement tools and methodologies

  • Proven experience with Lean/Six Sigma, Lean Transformation, and Business Process Management

  • Experience facilitating groups through Kaizens, process discussions and workshops

  • Experience understanding complex processes across a matrixed organization

  • Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to elicit information, actively listen, dialogue freely, verbalize ideas, and process effectively

  • Experience creating well-designed process flow charts and diagrams using digital tools

  • Passionate about problem-solving

  • Ability to wear different hats in a fast-moving environment

  • Experience working on process optimization efforts

  • Lean Six Sigma certification (blackbelt)

  • Experience facilitating current state and future state process mapping sessions

  • Must be detail-oriented, resourceful, and work well under pressure

  • Demonstrate accountability, prioritize tasks, and consistent in delivery

  • Show a desire to learn and be dedicated to professional development

  • Ability to travel 25% of the time

  • Experience with Lucidchart is a plus
