Job Title: Commercial Plumber Helper

Job Description

If you're looking for a job ASAP and you have some plumbing experience, then this is the position for you! We are seeking Plumber Helpers to work on brand new commercial construction projects in the Panama City area. Weekly pay, 40-45 hours a week!

Responsibilities:

• Assist plumbers in reading and interpreting blueprints (shop drawings)

• Help with the installation of PVC DWV piping, SS Victaulic domestic water, and Pro Press Copper domestic water systems

• Perform stack outs and assist in installing hangers and pipes with proper grade

• Assist in installing, repairing, and maintaining pipes, fittings, or fixtures of heating, water, or drainage systems

• Measure, cut, thread, or bend pipes using pipe cutters, hand or power tools, pipe-threading machines, or pipe-bending machines

• Fill pipes or plumbing fixtures with water or air and observe pressure gauges to detect and locate leaks

• Assist in installing underground storm, sanitary, or water piping systems

Skills:

• Basic plumbing skills

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints (with guidance)

• Experience with PVC, SS Victaulic, and Pro Press Copper systems (preferred)

• Ability to use hand and power tools

• Basic knowledge of measuring, cutting, threading, and bending pipes

Experience Level:

• Entry to Intermediate Level

Location:

• Panama City, Florida

Pay / Shift:

• Pay is dependent on experience

• Monday to Friday

• 1st Shift: 6:30am - 3:30pm

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $3432.00/hr.
