Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in Palo Alto, California. As a Sr. Accountant, you will play a crucial role in our finance team, managing complex financial data, ensuring the integrity of our financial records, and providing support in key financial operations.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts in accordance with accounting principles.

• Prepare and analyze various financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

• Provide assistance in the formulation of budgets and financial forecasts through the analysis of historical data and current financial trends.

• Take charge of the month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure reports are accurate and timely.

• Support both internal and external audits by supplying necessary documentation and addressing inquiries.

• Uphold adherence to GAAP, tax laws, and other financial regulations to ensure regulatory compliance.

• Identify opportunities for improvements and implement changes to accounting processes and systems for increased efficiency.

• Collaborate with other departments, offering financial insights and guidance. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation

• Demonstrated expertise in Balance Sheet Reconciliation

• Skilled in performing Bank Reconciliations

• Thorough knowledge of General Ledger management

• Experience with Journal Entries

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Familiarity with Month End Close procedures

• Experience with NetSuite software

• Knowledge of Oracle software

• Familiarity with SAP software
