Job Title: Senior Network Engineer
Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Network Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting and advancing a hybrid network architecture with both on-premise and cloud-based resources. You will be building, implementing, and supporting firewalls and other network security components.
Responsibilities
Support and advance a hybrid network architecture with on-premise and cloud-based resources.
Build, implement, and support firewalls and other network security components.
Administer LANs and WANs (data, voice) in a complex operational environment with high uptime requirements.
Add, modify, and maintain firewall policies in accordance with cyber policy.
Manage and support network automation, VPCs, TGWs, and other network components.
Essential Skills
Experience with Juniper Networks and Palo Alto Networks products.
Experience administering LANs and WANs in a complex operational environment.
Strong critical thinking skills.
Experience with Amazon VPCs, TGWs, and DXGWs.
Experience with centralized DNS/DHCP solutions.
Must be ITAR compliance
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with Zabbix and network automation.
Ability to come up with network solutions and own their implementation.
Work Environment
This role follows a hybrid schedule requiring 3 days per week onsite, with additional on-call duties. The team consists of 14 members, with 12 located in Colorado or Virginia, and 2 in Palo Alto or San Jose, CA. This opportunity has the potential to be converted to a permanent position.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $80.00/hr.
