In this position...

The Full-Stack Software Developers reporting into the DevOps function, are responsible for driving a diverse and highly skilled group of software engineers to deliver world class DevOps systems. This position has responsibility for driving development operations, providing services across the embedded vehicle systems – Vehicle systems, modems, in-vehicle infotainment, advanced driver assistance systems and beyond.

The candidate for this role must be able to adapt in a rapidly changing environment and drive consistency of purpose for a complex organization. Prior experience in driving cross functional teams in multifaceted technical and regulatory constrained environments is essential. The candidate will have demonstrated strong collaboration in delivering technical initiatives. Prior experience in embedded systems and associated Industries is an advantage.

What you'll do...

•   Partner to deliver against the technical vision, technical strategy, and KPIs for this function – time from code to deploy.

•   Develop world-class systems – that include security and safety critical systems.

•   Drive data discipline and best practices through the organization. 

•   Ensure projects and roadmaps are progressed appropriately.

You'll have...

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Computer Science or Software Engineering or a combination of equivalent experience and education

• 5+ years experience as software engineer

• 5+ years implementing front-end user interfaces using frameworks such as React or Angular

• 5+ years developing APIs using back-end technologies such as Node.js, Go, Python

• 5+ working with relational and/or NoSql databases, database design, and SQL Queries

Even better, you may have...

• Masters degree

• 8+ years experience as software engineer

• Worked with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform

• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies. Docker, Kubernetes

• Understanding of security best practices in web development

• SaaS development experience

• Demonstrated time in role working in a multi-disciplined organization focused on delivering development efficiency

• Excellent communication skills both up and down the organization to achieve the desired results.

• Critical Thinking: Demonstrated examples of applying systemic thinking, logic and reasoning skills to be able to identify opportunities, alternative solutions or approaches to problems.

• Organizational skill: Strong collaboration skills, clear and concise direction coupled with an ability to move within the organization to complete work and balance tradeoffs.

• Experience with SBOM

This position is a range of salary grades 6-8. Compensation will be determined according to experience and location.
