Stanford Health Care Clinical Nurse (RN) - Interventional Endoscopy 8 hour shifts On Call Required (7 Days, 9:00 AM Rotating Shift) in Palo Alto, California

Rotating - 10 Hour (United States of America)

Endoscopy registered nurses at 300P will provide pre-, intra-, and post- procedure care to patients having a variety of endoscopic procedures including but not limited to EGD, Colonoscopy, Flexible Sigmoidoscopy, dilations, ERCP, EUS, POEM, stent placements, PEG placements, radio-frequency ablations, and bronchoscopy. Intra-procedure care includes a circulating role or procedural/moderate sedation role. Nurse will be responsible for ensuring all quality and regulatory safety measures such as boarding pass, time-out and post-procedure debrief.

300P Endoscopy nurses will also cover roadshow' endoscopy cases in other locations including but not limited to operating rooms, procedure rooms, patient bedside, and emergency rooms on the main campus.

Endoscopy nurses will be part of an inter-disciplinary team of technicians, proceduralists, surgeons and anesthesia providers.

He or she delivers safe and therapeutic care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, intervention, implementation, and evaluation; and effectively interacts with patients, significant others, and other health team members while maintaining standards of professional nursing.

Job Qualifications:

Education/Certificate/Licensure/Training:

2 years acute care experience, including telemetry

Bachelor of Science (BSN)

AHA Healthcare Provider ACLS/BLS

Current California RN License

Experience/Skills:

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision

Positive Interpersonal Skills

Excellent organization and prioritization

Flexibility

Preferred Qualifications/Skills:

CAPA, CPAN or CGRN clinical certifications

Epic charting proficiency

Base Pay Scale: Generally starting at $89.08 - $102.76 per hour

The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training. This pay scale is not a promise of a particular wage.
