Job Description:

The F-35 Avionics Division is seeking a Program Financial Analyst to support our F-35 Modernization business area. This is dynamic and challenging area with development and redesign programs.

This position will be responsible for internal and external financial reporting, OSPI forecasting, and other analysis. Candidate should have a strong understanding of cost plus contract types as well as EVMS.

Essential Functions:

• Responsible for engaging with cross-functional teams to effectively support the division from a financial perspective.

• Responsible for knowing Harris policies and procedures and for providing guidance to other team members.

• Provide financial analysis for audits and other financial activities.

• Must possess strong interpersonal skills and be capable of interfacing and forming working relationships with the senior management staff

• Must possess strong communication skills (oral, written, listening); should be capable of making presentations to internal customers and management

• Must have good organizational skills and be capable of prioritizing and executing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, PeopleSoft & Queries; and Hyperion Planning applications

• Must be able to learn, understand, and implement earned value management processes and best practices.

  Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.

• Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MPM

  Preferred Additional Skills:

• Should be self-motivated and able to proactively solve complex problems in a timely manner

• Should be flexible and willing to assume additional responsibilities as needed
