Granville Health System Controller in Oxford, North Carolina
Position Summary: Under the general direction of the Chief Financial Officer, the#Controller is responsible for directing, coordinating and planning the activities of the accounting department.# Works with other hospital management to define goals and objectives as well as priorities for meeting financial goals of Center.# Ensures accurate and timely processing of all accounting reports internal and external. Minimum Qualifications: Education:# Bachelor of Science or Associate of Applied Sciences in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting and Finance. Experience:# Requires two to four years of healthcare accounting experience.# Experience with the hardware and software used by the hospital desirable.# PC knowledge a must. Knowledge and Skills:# Must be able to plan, manage and possess the technical and professional skills of system/procedures analysis, programming and hardware capabilities.# Must possess a high level of problem solving skills, as well as the ability to work and communicate effectively with all levels of management, both inside and outside the organization.
