Centric Business Systems Parts Warehouse Associate in Owings Mills, Maryland
The Parts Associate will assist with running the Part Operations. Primary duties will include stocking, shipping and receiving of parts.
Monday-Friday 8am - 5pm
Essential Functions:
Create purchase orders in E-Automate and receive parts
Process parts shipping using UPS Worldship
Stocking and labeling parts
Process technician daily parts restock and transfer requests
Assist with cycle counts of parts and supplies and quarterly tech inventories
Conduct warranty research and file warranty claims
Assist with car stock supply management including adding and removing items as required
Help maintain a clean and professional physical appearance of the parts area
Assist with replenishment and storage of service cleaning materials, tools and solvents
Notify manager on low inventory parts or shop materials that need immediate attention
Follow up on back-ordered parts with vendors and escalate orders when necessary
Work with Service Managers and Supervisors to obtain approval for high dollar parts
Additional Responsibilities:
Primary back-up and coverage responsibility for Parts Manager
Serve as backup to parts delivery driver
Assist with overnight purchasing
Other duties as assigned by management
Required Qualifications (Education, Experience and Certifications):
Prior experience in logistics and supply chain support is preferred
High school diploma or equivalent
High attention to detail
Excellent customer service skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products including Excel and Word
Must have outstanding oral and written communication skills
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast- paced environment
Professional and courteous demeanor
Must have valid driver license and safe driving record
Must have valid MD driver’s license
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
