As an Outbound Sales Associate, you will play an integral role in the success of our organization. Through various internal campaigns, you will be responsible for proactive outreach to existing plan participants to position the value of connecting with a licensed Financial Consultant for a personalized retirement consultation. You will focus on deepening participant relationships by providing foundational retirement strategy and insights, general portfolio needs, and resolving complex situations. In this role, you will:

  • Serve as the initial point of contact through proactive outreach for targeted campaigns.

  • Identify and qualify participants to be referred to a High-Value Financial Consultant to advance the relationship.

  • Demonstrate a consultative approach to gain a thorough understanding of the participant's needs and offer appropriate solutions.

  • Retain assets through education and guidance of available plan-specific and general distribution options.

  • Deliver on defined sales targets and other role-based responsibilities.

  • Understand the overall Financial Services industry and related legal, tax, and regulatory issues to guide clients.

  • Develop and maintain proficient knowledge of T. Rowe Price products and services.

  • Follow up with clients regarding retention opportunities.

  • Participate in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

  • Provide support for inbound participant service requests. Respond to requests for investment, mutual fund, and account information. Resolve complex account issues.

    What it takes

  • This job requires regulatory licenses and/or registrations. Series 7 and 66 are required to be obtained within 6 months of accepting the role.

  • Minimum one year of related work experience required. Experience working with retirement plans preferred.

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience required.

  • Exceptional client service skills with strong communication skills.

  • Possess intellectual curiosity and interest in developing business and financial acumen

  • Demonstrate sound judgment, problem-solving skills, and hyper focused on compliance and risk mitigation.

  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment and adapt to a wide variety of internal and external factors, all while pursuing excellence with passion and humility.

    Qualifications

    Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of training and relevant experience

  • 1+ years of total relevant work experience

  • FINRA Series 7/66 (Must obtain within 90 days of hire, dedicated study time will be provided)

    Preferred:

  • 2+ years of related experience

  • Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®)

FINRA Requirements

FINRA licenses are required and will be supported for this role.

Work Flexibility

This role is eligible for remote work up to two days a week.

Regional Requirements:

Base salary range:

$52,500 - $89,000USD

For the location of:

Colorado

Placement within the range provided above is based on the individual’s relevant experience and skills for the role. Base salary is only one component of our total compensation package. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, which is determined upon company and individual performance.
