Description

This person will be responsible for all parts related activities at our Owego, NY facility . They have a working knowledge of all operational procedures and product offerings and inventory control.

Requirements

JOB DUTIES

  • Prepare and maintain all records and documents required for the duties being performed

  • Operate various data systems used to track and direct training.

  • Assists with internal customer contact as required (phone or email)

  • Perform shipping and receiving functions

  • Pull orders and restocks shelves

  • Perform cycle counting and participate in physical inventory programs

  • Maintain open communication, cooperation and the sharing of knowledge

  • Maintain alignment with corporate goals and values

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

  • HS diploma, 2 years of equivalent experience

  • Excellent product knowledge, good administrative skills and inventory management experience are important.

  • Demonstrable customer service skills including two years previous parts department experience, which will consist of inside parts selling.

  • Excellent telephone skills

  • Previous Paragon software experience

  • AS400 software experience

  • Excellent customer service skills

Accountabilities:

  • Maintains clean and organized department

  • Assists with direct customer contact as required.

  • Must be able to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.

  • Person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery

  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and on rare occasions, move more than 50 pounds.

  • Small warehouse environment, in addition to what is found in an automotive repair shop.

Compensation: Hourly range from $20-$27/hour - This compensation will ultimately be in line with the location in which the position is filled. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
