We have a position available for a Machinist/CNC Machine Operator on the 2nd Shift (3:15pm- 1:45am) at our production cutting center located in Owatonna, MN. We currently are operating on a 4-10 work week schedule.

JOB DUTIES

  • Program and operate CNC machines (Lathe/ Cut-Off/ Laser)

  • Operate stand-up forklift and overhead crane to move material in the warehouse

  • Process orders to customer specifications

  • Do packaging and general housekeeping

  • May receive/inspect and verify the material count

  • Maintain safe working conditions in the plant and staging areas to assure compliance with federal, state, and local laws

    JOB REQUIREMENTS

    This position requires basic math skills and 3+ years of experience with CNC machinery. The preferred candidate will have experience in Automatic and CNC machine set-up and operation, or the vocational equivalent of the same. The position also requires that the candidate have the ability to read a micrometer and caliper.

We also offer a 401(k) Plan and a tuition reimbursement program. This position is eligible for our $2,000 sign on bonus. The bonus will be paid out in two installments, the first after successful completion of 90 day probationary period and the second installment at one year work anniversary.
