The Treasury and Financial Planning & Data Analyst is responsible for treasury management and financial and business analysis on asset portfolios in addition to providing financial recommendations to several functional areas of the company including Sales, Operations, Accounting, and Risk. This individual will prepare analyses and make recommendations to improve product, segment, and company profitability as well as plan, consolidate, and analyze actual and budgets related to asset portfolios. This position located in our Overland Park, KS office and reports to the Controller within the Transport Funding organization.

This is how you make an impact

  • Acts as a business consultant, responding to and communicating thoroughly and efficiently

  • Coordinate the long-term planning process and periodic short-term forecasts

  • Actively participate in the preparation and consolidation of annual strategic plans

  • Develop commercial forecasts and control reviews for operating expenses

  • Help and assist with managing the credit reserve model and support external audit requirements regarding reserves

  • Lead the month-end reporting closing process, analyzing financial metrics and developing insights

  • Provide business support through performance, profitability, and risk analysis

  • Drive analytics initiatives driving business intelligence strategy

  • Review reporting packages in order to maximize efficiency and support with automation

  • Support initiatives in coordination with Arrow Truck Sales

Who are you?

  • BS/BA in Finance/Statistics/Business Administration is required. MBA is a plus.

  • 5+ years of experience in financial planning, modeling, and business analysis

  • Proficiency with planning and business intelligence applications such as Hyperion Essbase, Qlik, PowerBI or Tableau

  • Expert level skills in Microsoft 365, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams

  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with peers and management at all levels of an organization.

  • Strong strategic thinking and storytelling skills

  • Experience in the Financial Services industry a plus
