Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:

  • Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.

  • Responsible for the administration of client accounts, not limited to, but rather including account openings, account maintenance, and account funding.

  • Responsible for supporting transfer requests, resolving transfer inquiries, as well as completing follow up on initiated transfers while providing the highest level of service to both our members and our partners.

  • Responsible for the facilitation and maintenance of the professional image of MD Financial Management through interactions with cross-functional teams in MD Operations, Practice Leadership & Advice, National Sales Delivery, and Global Asset Management Finance.

  • Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.

  • Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of their respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank’s Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk.

Do you have the skills and requirements that will enable you to succeed in this role? – We’d love to work with you if:

  • University degree, College diploma, or equivalent relevant experience in a related field;

  • 2 years’ experience in office administration; preferably in a related field;

  • Experience with customer relationship management tools;

  • Bilingualism (French/English) is an asset.

  • Ability to work effectively with others to achieve optimal outcomes;

  • Demonstrated initiative, resourcefulness and flexibility;

  • Sound capacity to assess, develop and monitor complex business processes.
