How you will contribute

You will support the Chocolate Category Growth Manager by ensuring forecast accuracy, and providing regular reporting including volume tracking versus plan, promo performance, customer-specific growth opportunities, and seasonal volume variations.

  • Be a part of the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process by attending customer forecast meetings to understand customer dynamics, and identify growth opportunities, and risks to the plan.

  • Review promotional activity in line with guidelines with regular reviews of promotional spending.

  • Develop new reports and update the available dashboards, insights, and data.

  • Work closely with demand planning (DP) and customer service and logistics (CS&L) to ensure goods are available according to forecast. Have a close dialogue with KAMs when supply risks are identified, and allocations are needed.

  • Work closely with Marketing to provide volume expectations on specific initiatives (new products, activations).

  • Participate in annual budget planning.

  • In time, use relevant tools to track progress towards revenue KPIs and complete promotional post evaluations with Finance and KAMs teams.

What extra ingredients you will bring:

  • Relevant work experience e.g. from sales, marketing or insights roles

  • Fluency in English is required, and good knowledge of Norwegian is preferred

  • University degree in business administration or other relevant discipline

  • Good skills in Excel, SAP, Nielsen and BI

  • Knowledge of Norwegian retail market would be an advantage

  • Proven strategic, creative and commercial analytical abilities. Ability to clearly present business ideas and courage to challenge the status quo.
