JOB SUMMARY:

The Contract Specialist will administer and coordinate Government contracts. Serve as the liaison between customers and the Company concerning pricing information, contract deliverable, scheduling, billing, and other requests associated with Government contracts.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.

  • Prepare, administer, and coordinate customer/dealer quotations, proposals, bids, orders, contracts, contract modifications, and specifications in a timely and efficient manner.

  • Perform administrative functions and prepare/maintain reports as required to ensure timely delivery of contract deliverables.

  • Work as a liaison with internal and external customers to resolve contract or schedule problems.

  • Prepare DD250 forms for approval by the Government to ensure invoicing and product shipment.

  • Assist with preparation of such additional data or correspondence as may be required by management or the provisions of the contract.

  • Support Government pre and/or post audits and other internal/external audits.

  • Present a professional image of Oshkosh to our customers.

  • Manage multiple tasks, projects, deadlines, priorities and workflow.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.

  • One (1) or more years related experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to communicate effectively, deal diplomatically with customers & dealers, work independently, and be innovative and creative.

  • Experience with JDE and WAWF.

  • Strong computer skills required including Microsoft Office.

  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

  • Excellent oral and written skills; ability to present at customer meetings.
