Oshkosh Corporation Bill of Material Coordinator in Oshkosh, Wisconsin

THE ROLE:

Review change notices created by engineering before distribution to the rest of the organization. Provide support to engineering as needed for following company policies. Update production work orders with changes from engineering. Create work orders and routings.

YOUR IMPACT:

  • Process change requests

  • Work closely with Engineering and Operations to understand implementation of desired changes when processing Change Requests

  • Enter BoM data into PLM system based on changes fromEngineering

  • Research and resolve problems generatedby Change Request activity

  • Understand/coordinate chaser work orders

  • Ensure compliance with Oshkosh Corporation drawing format andpart naming conventions

  • Ensure consistency and accuracy in BoM

  • Maintain consistent and accurate cross-reference information

  • Develop, maintain, and enforce the uniform use ofcorporate procedures and standards as relevant to BoM Product Structure

  • Act as a liaison between Engineering, Operations, Purchasing, Inventory, Aftermarket, Service, andFinance as needed

  • Work inconjunction with Engineering and Operations personnel to audit BoM's of newly developed products

  • Responsible for the communication of relevant data through reports

  • Performother duties as assigned

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERTISE:

  • Basic Understanding of Bill of Material Structuring

  • Professional Communication

  • General Oshkosh Product Knowledge

  • Positive Attitude

  • Willingness to learn

  • High School diploma or equivalent

  • Ability to work cross functionally with other departments

  • One (1+) years related experience.

STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Windchill knowledge for CN process

  • JDE ERP familiarity ​

  • Product Data Management Knowledge

  • Manufacturing Experience

  • Understanding of work order creation supply/demand
