We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Part Time, Accounts Payable Clerk in Ortanna, Pennsylvania with a Hybrid schedule. The role involves working with accounts payable, account reconciliation, and data entry in a telecom industry setting. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of AP and will be comfortable using software like QuickBooks, Oracle, and Microsoft Excel. The successful candidate will be required to be on site on Thursday every week, and can work remotely after training on other days of the week. This role will be a total of 20-25 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

• Review and process invoices for entry into the accounting software

• Perform regular check runs

• Code invoices accurately to ensure proper categorization

• Maintain and reconcile accounts payable records

• Conduct data entry tasks related to account reconciliation and invoice processing

• Utilize software such as Microsoft Excel, Oracle, and QuickBooks for various tasks

• Respond to and resolve any issues or inquiries related to accounts payable

• Ensure all financial data is accurate and up-to-date

• Work both independently and collaboratively with the team to ensure efficient financial operations

• Adhere to all company policies and regulations regarding accounts payable

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is necessary.

• Understanding and practical application of coding invoices.

• Proficiency in data entry with attention to detail and accuracy.

• Experience in invoice processing is essential.
