Job Summary:
The Student Worker – Human Resources Office provides clerical support to the Human Resources and/or other administrative departments. Performs general clerical duties including, but not limited to, reception, answering phones, picking up and delivery of mail, making copies, scanning documents, filing, data entry, typing documents, organizing department supplies, inventory, assembling packets, creating marketing flyers and other projects as assigned. Practices discretion and maintains confidentiality. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
You Will Be Responsible For:
Demonstrates behaviors at AdventHealth University in harmony with AHU’s “Four Words” of Nurture, Excellence, Spirituality, and Stewardship as well as AdventHealth’s Performance Standards of “Keep Me Safe, Love Me, Make it Easy, and Own It.”
Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the Human Resources and/or administrative departments, including filing, data entry, document management, expense report submission, and management of office supply inventory.
Front Desk Operations: Manage front desk operations, including answering phones, responding to inquiries, and directing visitors to the appropriate personnel.
Project Assistance: Assist HR professionals with special projects, research assignments, and other tasks as needed.
Event Support: Provide support in the execution of HR-department-related and/or university events, workshops, and training sessions as needed.
Employee Communications: Contribute to internal communications by drafting announcements, newsletters, and other relevant materials to keep employees informed about HR policies and initiatives.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
What Will You Need:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Current acceptance as an AHU student (attach your current class schedule)
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Products
Excellent organizational and communication skills
People and Service oriented skills
