Lockheed Martin Production Operations Manager, Senior/Orlando, FL in Orlando, Florida

Description: Leader responsible for Safety, Cost, Quality and Schedule for all aspects of Javelin Production and Development support activities at multiple sites (Ocala, FL and Troy, AL) and manufacturing centers to include installation and testing of assemblies containing energetics.

Ensures Production Operations supports long range financial goals and customer contractual commitments. Leads planning activities and manages execution of multi-year capital plan to support program requirements and site/center capacity needs.

Supports international participation strategy and execution from inception phase to execution.

As member of Production Operations functional team, ensures integration of improvement initiatives and compliance to policy and procedures.

Responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, recognition/disciplinary actions, and succession planning.

Leader will also be responsible for an development manufacturing that could reside within the Javelin Building.

Basic Qualifications:

Completed bachelors degree: technical or business related

Must have a minimum of a current interim Secret clearance to be considered

Minimum of 2 years leading Manufacturing Teams

Managing Safety, Cost, Quality and Schedule simultaneously across multiple Sites/Centers.

Manufacturing defense or aerospace deliverables containing energetics.

Must be willing to travel up to 25%

Desired Skills:

Demonstrated LEAN/6 Sigma process experience

Project CAM certification or demonstrated experience

Production flow and Value Stream management experience

Demonstrated Root Cause determination and Corrective Action implementation experience

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
