A Snapshot of Your Day

This is a developmental project engineering role where you will need to thrive in ambiguity and use your leadership and relationship building skills to influence large multi-functional teams to solve technical, production and logistics problems in the power generation industry. This role will report to the director of operations for Field Service North America and take supporting and lead roles in multiple concurrent service and strategic business projects and require little to no direct supervision; while learning the larger business and operation!

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Coordinating large service and modification projects for power plants around the world.

• Leading multi-functional field and office teams through influence to complete short and long term improvement and business operations projects.

• Actively serve on power plant service outage projects as a field engineer.

• Create and execute business plans and presentations to senior internal and customer executives.

What You Bring

• Bachelors Degree (BS preferred or BA with real world technical experience).

• 5+ Years experience as a Military Junior Officer.

• Ability to form strong genuine relationships with coworkers and customers!

• Willingness and ability to travel frequently and operate independently of direct supervision.

• Travel 50%.

• Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

Gas Services

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
