Job Title: Controls Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a seasoned Controls Engineer to join our team in Orlando, FL. This role is responsible for overseeing controls engineering project requirements, including control system design, DCS/PLC programming, control panel design, and instrumentation. Additionally, the successful candidate will provide check-out support and start-up assistance. The position requires effective oral and written communication skills, the ability to work in a multi-disciplinary environment, and interface with engineers, designers, and drafters. The individual will also work on automation and control system integration projects for clients in industries such as entertainment and manufacturing and may act as a Project Manager on smaller projects. This role requires the ability to develop and execute implementation plans for projects, assign work to meet project deadlines, and manage all purchasing and subcontractor requirements.

Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in ORLANDO, Florida.
Work Environment
Join our small local team in our theme park division, based in our Windemere office. The successful candidate will spend most of their time working on site. Our team is laid back and each of our divisions operate independently. Travel could potentially be up to 35%, but all of the work for this group is based in Orlando.
