Acentra seeks a Behavioral Health Manager to join our growing team.

Job Summary:

Direct, manage, and evaluate functions of behavioral health care coordinators and behavioral health case managers to ensure contract deliverables and core functions. Serves in a management and advisory capacity and provides oversight of behavioral health service coordination in a variety of communities and settings.

*Position is hybrid within the State of Oregon. Work will be performed remotely along with Statewide field based travel.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the day-to-day direct supervision of behavioral health team and participates in hiring, training, and developing behavioral health staff.

  • Manage behavioral health team’s workload.

  • Ensure that staff meet established performance standards.

  • Provide clinical leadership and consultation to staff.

  • Prepares and submits required reports.

  • Collaborate with leadership team to develop unit objectives and goals and assist unit leaders.

  • Facilitate management of unit documents and training with a behavioral focus through review and approval according to unit processes.

  • Directly supervise care coordinators and case managers in remote and field-based positions.

  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Required Qualifications/Experience:

  • Certified as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP).

  • Master’s degree or be licensed by the State of Oregon Licensing Board for applicable scope of practice.

  • 5+ years of experience with Medicaid-eligible populations.

  • Experience with Medicaid, state government agencies, and contract administration functions.

  • Requires work experience in complex, marginalized communities, with diverse racial, ethnic, and socio-economic factors.

  • Have training and experience in addressing health disparities and promoting equitable health outcomes.

  • Must reside in Oregon.

Preferred Qualifications/Experience:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Products, specifically Microsoft word, excel, teams, and SharePoint.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent customer service

  • Microsoft Office basic skills Ability to prioritize, assign and follow-up on work.

  • Ability to problem solve.

  • Ability to provide technical consultation and policy interpretation.

  • This position may require statewide travel on a limited basis.

Compensation

The pay range for this position is $70,000-87,000.

Based on our compensation philosophy, an applicant’s placement in the pay range will depend on various considerations, such as years of applicable experience and skill level.
