Description

We are in need of a qualified Medicaid Billing Specialist to support a client based in Oregon City, Oregon. This role primarily involves handling functions related to the preservation, custody, and recording of official health documents and records. Your responsibilities will also include retrieving, tracking, and processing internal and external requests for health information.

Responsibilities:

• Process, review, and maintain client medical records requests and other client documentation

• Prepare, process, reconcile, review, adjust, and maintain detailed client medical billing accounts

• Develop workflows for records and billing processes

• Service staff and clients at all levels

• Efficiently manage the retrieval, tracking, and processing of internal and external requests for health information

• Proficiently handle tasks related to the preservation, custody, and recording of official health documents and records

• Utilize skills in Microsoft Excel, Accounts Receivable (AR), Billing Functions, EMR (Electronic Medical Records), Medicaid, and Medicaid Billing to perform duties effectively and efficiently.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required

• Experience in Accounts Receivable (AR) is essential

• Familiarity with various Billing Functions is necessary

• Knowledge of EMR (Electronic Medical Records) is a must

• Understanding of Medicaid procedures and regulations is required
