Description

We are seeking a meticulous Benefits Specialist to support our Oregon City based client in a long-term contract role. The ideal candidate will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities, including assisting in the administration of employee retirement benefits, supporting with FMLA and LOA administration, and collaborating with internal HR teams regarding risk management programs, job analyses, and worker's comp claims.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the administration of employee benefits programs, providing guidance to employees on laws, regulations, policies, and procedures

• Utilize the organization's human resources information system to select employment information for various projects

• Prepare and review payroll, benefits, and human resources documents for compliance with established procedures and policies

• Provide assistance on employment-related issues to departments, employees, and applicants

• Assist in preparing, coordinating, and presenting employee training and development programs

• Maintain financial and claims data, perform moderately complex data entry and retrieval, and make adjustments in HRIS and RMIS systems

• Assist in the management of Worker’s Compensation claims, determining acceptance or denial.

Requirements

• Minimum of three years experience in Benefits Administration or in a similar role within Human Resources

• Demonstrable experience with Benefit Functions, Claim Administration, Leave of Absence, and FMLA

• Knowledge of 401k Administration

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Attention to detail and good organizational skills

• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
