Job Title: Machine Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating machines according to production specifications, performing quality checks, and carrying out maintenance tasks to ensure optimal machine performance.

Responsibilities

• Setting up machines according to production specifications, including loading materials, adjusting settings, and aligning tooling.

• Operating machines to produce products according to established quality standards.

• Monitoring machine performance, identifying potential issues, and making necessary adjustments to maintain optimal production.

• Performing regular quality checks on products during production to ensure compliance with standards.

• Identifying and reporting any defects or quality issues to supervisors.

• Implementing corrective actions to address quality concerns.

• Performing basic machine maintenance tasks like cleaning, lubrication, and minor repairs.

• Identifying and reporting any machine malfunctions to maintenance personnel.

• Troubleshooting minor operational issues to minimize production downtime.

• Maintaining production records, including machine settings, production quantities, and quality data.

• Completing required paperwork and reporting any issues or discrepancies to supervisors.

Essential Skills

• Mechanical aptitude and ability to understand basic machine operations.

• Attention to detail and ability to maintain quality standards.

• Ability to follow instructions and work safely within established procedures.

• Basic computer skills for data entry and production monitoring.

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow shift schedules.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in machine operation, packaging, and assembly.

• Troubleshooting skills for identifying and resolving minor operational issues.

• Experience in production and quality inspection.

The work environment is non-climate controlled. You will be expected to follow shift schedules and work effectively in a team setting.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of NA, South Carolina.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
