Description

We are seeking an Operations Processor to join our team in the healthcare industry. This role is based in Minneapolis, Minnesota and offers a short term contract employment opportunity. The Operations Processor will serve as a crucial point of contact for Health Plan member grievances and internally identified potential quality of care issues. 90% remote.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the main point of contact for Health Plan member grievances and potential quality of care issues

• Coordinate the process with receipt and initial processing, including data entry, record requests, and follow-ups for member grievances and other quality of care concerns from internal and external sources

• Maintain documentation in databases as required

• Coordinate and communicate with provider offices and other involved entities

• Ensure documentation is requested and received while managing TATs within Health Plan timelines

• Handle the processing of mail, which may require occasional visits to the office

• Support and assist with clinical trial operations

• Provide workstation support when needed

• Exhibit professional phone presence during all interactions

• Engage in the appeals process when necessary

• Understand and adhere to the timeline for each task and process

• Work with offshore teams for smooth operations and coordination

• Adhere to TRICARE and NIS standards and regulations.

Requirements • Proficiency in data entry and maintaining accurate documentation

• Experience in providing workstation support and handling phone presence

• Familiarity with healthcare industry-specific databases

• Ability to process mail efficiently and accurately

• Experience in clinical trial operations, including managing timelines and entity formation

• Skill in interviewing for data collection and handling appeals

• Knowledge of offshore operations and health plans, specifically TRICARE and NIS systems

• Aptitude for training other team members to ensure quality of operations

• Experience with receipt management and auditing

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
