Job Summary: Production Worker I: This position is responsible for doing general labor work on the production line doing multiple functions. Essential Functions of the Job: Boxing and labeling of products Inspection of products Weighing cartons and products Loading products onto production lines Counting products Check date codes to ensure accuracy Perform quality checks Read and interpret documents as they apply to production Operate simple mechanical equipment Follow company GMP's (good manufacturingpractices) and all other quality programs as they relate to the production department Wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) when required Responsible for ensuring work area is clean and organized Strictly adhere to all Safety policies Committed to ensuring that the products produced meet all food safety and quality requirements Supervisory Responsibilities: None Minimum Qualifications: High School or equivalent Preferred Qualifications: Manufacturing experience is preferred. Knowledge and Skills: Ability to use critical thinking to plan and problem-solve. Work Environment/Physical Demands: Approximately; 100% of work is performed in a manufacturing facility which is not climate controlled and may contain allergens. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds, climb stairs and stand for long periods of time.
