Summary of the Press Operator position:
- Location: Omaha, Nebraska
- Schedule: Monday - Friday 7 AM - 3:30 PM
- Pay: $18-25/hour based on experience
As a Press Operator, you'll play a vital role in setting up and operating a metal stamping line to deliver top-notch metal products. Your dedication to quality and precision will contribute directly to the company's success.
Minimum Requirements for the Press Operator position:
- 3 years of experience as a machine operator in a production environment
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to stand and operate equipment for 8 hours a day
- Capability to lift and move up to 35 pounds repeatedly
Responsibilities of the Press Operator:
- Set up and changeover production stamping dies in punch press using basic hand tools
- Handle materials using overhead crane and forklift
- Package parts into boxes and stack on pallets for shipping
- Understand dimensions and tolerancing for quality control
- Operate and interpret "Go No-Go" gauges, calipers, micrometers
- Communicate quality issues clearly with engineers to troubleshoot and resolve problems
