Hormel Foods Papillion Foods-Karen Translator/Production Trainer-1st Shift in Omaha, Nebraska

1st Shift

6:00am-2:30pm

Pay: $21.60

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Performs translation duties

  • Giving production tours

  • Works with Team Leaders and Team Members to monitor work in progress to assure conformance to productivity standards, standard yields, safe work procedures, HAACP, quality requirements, and food safety.

  • Coaches and trains new/existing employees to ensure conformance to productivity standards, standard yields, safe work procedures and quality requirements.

  • Train and certificate team members in; forklift, lock out tag out, and chemical training.

  • Completes new employee orientation.

  • Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years old

  • Must be willing to work overtime

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States

  • Bilingual in Karen and English, reading, writing, speaking

  • 1 year of consistent work history at a production facility

  • Basic Computer Skills

  • Ability to work different shifts when needed

  • Ability to work independently and/or in a team environment
