Summary of the Formulator position:
- Location: Omaha, Nebraska
- Schedule: Monday- Friday midnight- 8 AM or 4 AM - 1 PM
- Pay: Starts at $20/hour DOE
Working Conditions: Work is primarily conducted in an environmentally controlled manufacturing plant. The role involves physical activities such as continual lifting, lowering and sliding packages weighing 25-50 pounds with some packages weighing up to 400 pounds.
As a Formulator, you will play a critical role in manufacturing products that meet the highest standards of quality, purity, and integrity. You will also assist in maintaining raw material inventories, ensuring the smooth operation of the production processes.
Responsibilities of the Formulator:
- Maintain raw material inventories.
- Manufacture high-quality products under the supervision of the Senior Project Coordinator.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Uphold safety practices and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Maintain good housekeeping practices and accurate batch records and logbooks.
- Foster a collaborative team environment.
- Assist the Master Formulator in managing raw material inventory.
- Maintain log books and ensure equipment cleanliness.
- Follow SOPs for product compounding and manufacturing.
- Train Junior Formulators and oversee the cleanliness of rooms and equipment.
- Demonstrate adherence to company SOPs and safety standards.
- Timely and accurate completion of work assignments.
- Adherence to instructions and compliance with cGMP and SOPs.
- Ability to meet output targets for the shift.
- Maintenance of good safety practices, attendance, and teamwork.
Requirements for the Formulator position:
- High school diploma or GED; secondary education in a related field preferred
- Forklift Certification preferred
- 1-2 years experience in a pharmaceutical/food manufacturing environment; experience with good manufacturing practices and FDA regulations preferred.
