Job Title: Machinist Team Lead

Job Description

Seeking a skilled Machinist Team Lead with previous gearing experience to operate various machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, boring machines, and grinders to accurately machine metallic workpieces. You will read blueprints or job orders to determine product specifications, download programs into machines, and set up machinery according to detailed instructions. Additionally, you will be responsible for running equipment to produce parts to print and engineering specifications, performing inspections on parts, making necessary machine adjustments, and maintaining high standards of housekeeping in the working area. The role requires an individual who can work safely, promote a safe environment, and meet daily efficiency and productivity goals.

Hard Skills

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Olathe, Kansas.

Work Environment

Working in a machine shop in Olathe, KS. The environment is non-climate controlled, operating Monday to Friday from 7 am to 3:30 pm at a rate of $25 per hour.
