Walmart Director, Compliance And Ethics Operations - Region 44 Operations Compliance in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Position Summary...

What you'll do...

This role is based in Oklahoma City, OK and requires weekly travel in the states of Oklahoma and parts of Texas and Kansas.

The Director, Region 44 Operations Compliance is a critical thought-leadership role that is responsible for developing strategies, leading and participating in cross-functional workstreams, and formulating, implementing, and monitoring key performance indicators across large format markets spanning multiple states.

Reporting to the Senior Director of Operations Compliance for the Southwest Business Unit, the Director, Region 44 Operations Compliance role will support the Regional Vice President of Operations and other business partners in ensuring the Ethics & Compliance strategy for Region 44 is effective and relevant in addressing the unique regulatory challenges of the business.

What you’ll do....

  • Monitor compliance and ethics processes for potential gaps, recommending and developing strategies for addressing those gaps.

  • Identify compliance risks and mitigating those risks.

  • Oversee the development of the strategy for new or changing regulatory requirements by leading the research and analysis of applicable laws and regulations.

  • Participate in committees and webinars to abreast of changes to the business.

  • Determine the impact of regulatory changes to the business and developing strategies to address current regulatory requirements, and upcoming changes to those requirements.

  • Partner with the Subject Matter Experts to develop training programs for stakeholders and collaborate with stakeholders to drive implementation of new programs.

  • Benchmark industry best practices; aligning compliance programs with the business strategy.

  • Evaluate and report on key performance metrics for compliance programs for area of focus.

  • Communicate corporate positions on various overarching issues by reconciling research into refined messages for review; formalize statements in response to issues and concerns, and present impact statements to leadership.

  • Analyze costs and forecast and incorporate into business plans; determine and support resource requirements; evaluate operational processes; measure outcomes to ensure desired results; identify and capitalize on improvement opportunities; promote a customer environment; and demonstrate adaptability and sponsor continuous learning.

The annual salary range for this position is $110,000.00-$220,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.

Minimum Qualifications...

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field and 5 years’ experience in human resources, ethics and compliance, corporate communications, or related area OR 7 years’ experience in human resources, ethics and compliance, corporate communications, or related area.

2 years’ supervisory experience.
