Manager/Sr Manager of Total Rewards to join our team in Ogden, UT.  Will work in the office for four days and enjoy a rotating remote day on the fifth. Client is a national company known for manufacturing health and wellness products sold in retail stores nationwide.

What's the Role?

As the Manager of Total Rewards, you'll be a key player in the HR People Team. Will design, implement, and manage client's total rewards strategy. This includes everything from compensation and benefits to other employee perks, all aimed at attracting, motivating, and retaining top talent. 

What You'll Do:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive compensation strategy that aligns with our business goals and keeps us competitive in the market.
  • Conduct regular market analyses to ensure our compensation practices are top-notch.
  • Oversee the annual salary review process, including merit increases and bonus programs.
  • Design and manage employee benefits programs like health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
  • Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements to our benefits package to keep employees happy and healthy.
  • Ensure we comply with all relevant laws and regulations regarding employee benefits.
  • Develop and manage recognition programs to reward employee contributions.
  • Implement initiatives that support a healthy work-life balance and enhance the overall employee experience.
  • Use HR analytics to assess the effectiveness of our total rewards programs and make data-driven improvements.
  • Prepare regular reports on compensation and benefits metrics for leadership.
  • Stay updated on laws and regulations governing compensation and benefits to ensure compliance.
  • Develop communication strategies to educate employees about their total rewards package.
  • Provide guidance and training to the total rewards team.
  • Manage the development and administration of compensation and benefit programs, including base compensation, short- and long-term incentives, and equity awards.
  • Monitor existing compensation practices and recommend cost-effective changes.
  • Draft and communicate annual compensation policies, benefits guides, and perk program overviews.
  • Provide advice on pay decisions, policy interpretations, and job evaluations.
  • Conduct compensation studies and analyses for merit increase reviews.
  • Collaborate on annual performance evaluations.
  • Design creative solutions for compensation-related programs and incentive plans.
  • Compile, prepare, and present data accurately and clearly.
  • Ensure compliance with all reporting requirements and compensation laws and regulations.
  • Administer and coordinate various employee welfare and retirement benefit programs.
  • Manage vendor relations for benefits.
  • Prepare 5500 forms and Summary Annual Reports.
  • Maintain plan documents and distribute required plan notifications.
  • Resolve administrative issues with carrier representatives.
  • Coordinate Benefits Committee meetings and oversee plan modifications.
  • Assist in coordinating employee health and wellness fairs and events.
  • Help with annual EEO-1 compliance reporting.
What You Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, or a related field, plus 5+ years of experience in employee compensation and benefits, including 5+ years in a supervisory role.
  • Extensive experience in compensation and benefits management, with a focus on total rewards strategy.
  • In-depth knowledge of compensation practices, benefits administration, and executive compensation trends.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, including proficiency in HR analytics.
  • Knowledge and experi ence with SEC reporting requirements.
  • Certified Compensation Professional credentials (CCP and CBP) preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven experienc in managing and leading a team.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Computer proficiency, especially with Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for dealing with senior management.
