We are located in picturesque Marion County, FL. The county is known as the Horse Capital of the World. We are currently looking for a qualified Mental Health Technician (MHT) to join our team of dedicated Behavioral Health professionals working with Adults dealing with psychiatric and/or substance abuse issues. The Mental Health Tech (MHT) provides direct care support to ensure the safety and well-being of our patients.
Hours: Ability to provide PRN availability of 7a-7p or 7p-7a with at least 1 weekend day per month.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Direct patient care experience, CNA, or previous acute care/behavioral related experience preferred. Associate’s degree and/or Bachelor’s degree in psychology or related field may be used in lieu of related experience. Nursing students who have completed all pre-requisites can use education in lieu of related experience.
