Purpose

The Senior Analyst will be part of a dynamic team that is responsible for providing production support for IT Enterprise Infrastructure technologies in the following areas: Networks, Security, Servers, Vulnerability Management, and Patching.

Accountabilities

  • Support day-to-day operation of infrastructure systems and services, escalations, and perform scheduled maintenance in varied enterprise environments.

  • Monitor and Maintain availability, reliability, performance, and security of infrastructure systems in line with defined standards and service levels.

  • Monitor sustainability of infrastructure systems and recommend system and network optimizations to support business needs.

  • Work within compliance requirements for in-scope systems

  • Assist in maintaining, developing, and reviewing of operational support documentation.

  • Participate in a 24x7 on call monthly rotation and respond to outages related to network infrastructure and services.

  • Work within established configuration and organizational change policies and approval processes, including ability to develop, obtain supporting documentation.

  • Work with vendors and solution providers to resolve issues.

  • Support infrastructure vulnerability and patching objectives

  • Participate in configuration of vulnerability monitoring tools and mitigations.

  • Assist with various Enterprise Infrastructure projects.

  • Assist in improving and maintaining security posture across infrastructure services and equipment in line with security and regulatory standards and policies.

Education and Experience

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • 3+ years’ hands on experience working in medium to large infrastructure environments including complex data center environments.

  • Experience with system monitoring and response tools.

  • Experience with vulnerability scanning solutions and mitigation.

  • Working experience with Azure and cloud concepts

  • Strong working knowledge in networking: Firewalls, routers, switches, load balancers.

  • Working knowledge in server management, virtualization, and Active Directory, including patch and certificate management,

  • Ability to quickly learn new processes, technical landscapes, changes, and support best practices.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate with multiple teams from many different backgrounds and technical abilities.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of cross-functional team.
