Fedcap Community Partnership Manager- Temporary in Oakville, Ontario

Position Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and deepening relationships with community partners including Ontario Works delivery agents and those organizations that support our inclusion groups (Francophones, black and racialized Canadians, Newcomers, Persons with Disabilities, LGBTQ2S+, etc.) to inform quality service delivery and ensure we are meeting the needs of these individuals to find and retain employment.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Represents Fedcap Canada and its’ network of service providers to the broader community.

  • Acts as the key point of contact for Ontario Works delivery agents and community partners.

  • Manages referral relationships and monitors referral quality and success rates.

  • Acts as an advocate for diverse clients in program and service delivery models.

  • Identifies unique solutions to serve specific client group pre-employment needs, developing and evaluating pilot programs.

  • Ensures clear and consistent communication channels exist between community partners and the network.

  • Develops and maintains a Circle of Support database of assigned community agencies and organizations that can be used for jobseeker wrap around supports.

  • Collaborate with colleagues and teams from across catchments to support the development of innovative and meaningful ways for our community partners and networks to connect with and benefit from each other.

  • Identify opportunities for innovation and partnership with complementary programs.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher preferred.

  • Education in social services, employment services, human services, or equivalent preferred.

  • Experience in research, community consultation, and developing partnerships.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Demonstrable knowledge of

  • the mission, vision, and goals of Fedcap Canada and The Fedcap Group and execution of relevant policies and procedures.

  • Strong MS Office skills

  • Demonstrable ability to

  • listen generously and honor multiple and/or opposing perspectives

  • relate to diverse populations and advocate on behalf of client needs

  • build effective relationships to enable fulfillment of the role of the position.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
