HIRING: Fund Administration Associate (2-4yrs Experience)

Location: San Francisco

Work Scheme: Hybrid – 3 days in-office/2 days work from home

Compensation: $100-$115k + Bonus + Highly competitive profit sharing

Our client serves both individual and institutional clients globally, championing singular investment philosophies across a range of focused offerings and have a total AUM of over $300B.

Fund Administration Associate Role:

Our client is looking for a fund administration associate, a key member of the Fund Treasury team. The associate will support key controls including daily security valuation and NAV calculation oversight. The role also encompasses various fund accounting, financial reporting, and tax administration tasks. A successful candidate will have a good knowledge of fund accounting and robust data management skills, being a self-motivating problem solver who can adapt in a dynamic environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Execution of fund accounting key controls/processes, including review of daily NAV calculations

• Assistance with fund data curation and analysis

• Management of fund administration tasks, including fund expense management, financial, and regulatory reporting, and tax administration

• Oversight of custodian/fund accounting agent, State Street Bank

• Support for changes in business process, such as automation and strengthening of internal controls

  Requirements

Candidate Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant fund accounting experience

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Proficiency in managing and analyzing investment accounting data and enhancing business processes

• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and data management, including experience with Excel macros and Bloomberg API

• Good interpersonal skills for effective interaction with people at all levels within and outside the firm

• High level of organization, attention to detail, flexibility, reliability, and a proactive approach

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

• Personal qualities that align with a team-oriented and collaborative culture

• Highest level of integrity and ethics
