Job Title: Supervisor - 2nd Shift

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Supervisor for our 2nd shift at our brand-new, state-of-the-art bakery in Oak Creek, WI. Our facility specializes in producing high-quality specialty garlic bread products. As a Supervisor, you will oversee daily operations, manage a team of 58-62 associates, and collaborate with key support departments to ensure smooth and efficient production. You will drive continuous improvement and foster a culture of total employee engagement.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily production and packaging operations on two high-speed lines, ensuring optimal performance and product flow.

• Collaborate closely with support departments including Quality Assurance, Warehousing, Sanitation, and Maintenance to ensure alignment with production goals.

• Optimize Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) by addressing bottlenecks, minimizing downtime, and implementing Lean Manufacturing principles.

• Lead, coach, and develop your team, promoting involvement in continuous improvement initiatives and problem-solving activities.

• Maintain strict adherence to health, safety, and food safety standards, including GMP, SQF, and HACCP protocols.

Essential Skills

• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing supervision.

• Experience with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma.

• Strong leadership and team development skills.

• Knowledge of ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Proficiency in quality inspection, sanitation, and operations management.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.

• Formal lean training with Greenbelt certification.

Work Environment

This position operates during the 2nd shift hours of 2pm - 11pm, Monday through Friday, overseeing 58-62 production workers. Our facility is clean, climate-controlled, and adheres to GMP standards, requiring the use of hair nets, beard nets, hard hats, smocks, steel-toe shoes, and gloves.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
