News Corp Australia Account Manager - Sales in NSW, Australia

What’s the role?

This is a fantastic opportunity for an independent, strategic, and collaborative Account Manager to work across one of the most exciting and fastest-growing sectors of the media industry—building and launching one of the country's most notable owned media networks from day one.

This is a newly formed role reporting to the Head of Sales. You will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining strong partner relationships and capturing new business using data, insights, and measurement to tell brand stories.

  • Collaborating across teams and channels, both internally and externally, to facilitate positive experiences and more engaging media solutions for our partners.

  • Owning up the sales cycle from planning to reporting, living and promoting honest and transparent practices.

Who are you?

  • Sales experience - building, implementing and managing strategic business plans to achieve revenue goals and client satisfaction.

  • Proven track record - past success in over-achieving sales targets, with excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

  • Strategic thinker - ability to listen, solve and present best-in-class sales solutions utilising templates and response frameworks, matched to business guidelines.

  • People person - a positive communicator who always operates with honesty and transparency.

What you will be able to do:

  • ​​Analyse client briefs, formulate media solutions and manage ongoing client communications and relationships.

  • Be comfortable working with insights and data to build client channel recommendations, matched to their brand and campaign objectives.

  • Working closely with the operations team to ensure delivery and reporting of all partner campaigns to contracted timelines.

  • Utilising internal reporting systems to track, monitor and communicate sales results.
