What you'll do:
SUMMARY: The Chassis Driver position is responsible for operating any combination of chassis and dedicated to the best safety practices
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: * Fully understand how to operate and safely drive chassis * Prepares units for transport with chassis and body modifications as needed to accommodate for transport and drive-away * Works within all safety guidelines to ensure an efficient and safe transfer process * Perform inspections of your vehicle prior to and following each trip * Notify managers of any maintenance or delivery issues encountered * Adhere to company rules and regulations * Obey all applicable traffic laws and drive in according to the weather/road conditions * Always make safety a priority * Performs other duties as requested by management.
What you need to be successful:
QUALIFICATIONS: * HS Diplomas or GED required * Valid driver's license with no points * CDL license is preferred * Open to working outdoors in all weather conditions * Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form * Able to work in a fast-paced environment * Must have great attendance
