Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in Novelty, Ohio. This role is centered in a traditional workplace environment where you will handle tasks related to accounts payable, data entry, customer service, and credit reconciliation. You will be a part of our dedicated team in the telecom industry.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process invoices and enter data into QuickBooks Desktop

• Manage vendor maintenance tasks ensuring smooth operations

• Handle credit card reconciliation tasks meticulously

• Attend to phone calls providing top-notch customer service

• Understand and apply basic Excel functions for various tasks

• Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient financial operations

• Monitor customer credit accounts and take action on delinquent payments

• Maintain accurate customer credit records

• Process customer credit applications efficiently

• Resolve customer credit inquiries promptly and professionally. Requirements • Proven experience in an Accounts Payable role.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks.

• Demonstrated knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) procedures.

• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to handle confidential information in a discreet manner.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

• Excellent problem-solving skills.

• Capability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

• Strong analytical skills and ability to reconcile complex accounts.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is desirable.
