We are seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to join our team in Baltimore, Maryland. In this role, you will be responsible for developing complex solutions in a cybersecurity context, managing and maintaining key information security systems, and configuring vulnerability and system hardening scans. You will also be required to develop and execute comprehensive endpoint security strategies, lead the implementation and configuration of endpoint security solutions, and collaborate with incident response teams to investigate and mitigate endpoint security incidents.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive endpoint security strategies tailored to meet the unique needs of users, leveraging Microsoft Defender, InTune, and other EDR/MDR solutions.

• Lead the implementation and configuration of endpoint security solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure and alignment with security best practices.

• Serve as a subject matter expert on endpoint security technologies, providing guidance on deployment, configuration, and optimization of Microsoft Defender, InTune, Netskope, DLP, and other relevant tools.

• Collaborate with incident response teams to investigate and mitigate endpoint security incidents, utilizing advanced forensic techniques and analysis of security logs and alerts.

• Stay abreast of emerging threats and vulnerabilities affecting endpoint security, and incorporate threat intelligence into security strategies and operational procedures.

• Conduct endpoint security assessments, identifying gaps and vulnerabilities in existing security measures, and recommending remediation actions to enhance overall security posture.

• Communicate technical concepts to inexperienced users and at a detailed level to engineers and administrators.

• Solve complex problems and troubleshoot issues independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• Maintain strong attention to detail while multi-tasking and maintaining organizational skills.

• Manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results on time.

Requirements

• Proficient in Border Gateway Protocol (BGP)

• Skilled in using Checkpoint technologies

• Strong expertise in Cisco ASA, Cisco Routers, and other Cisco Technologies

• Knowledgeable in Computer Hardware

• Demonstrated abilities in Configuration Management

• Excellent Design skills

• Strong understanding of Firewall Technologies

• Experience with Windows Defender

• Proven experience as a Cyber Security Engineer in the service industry

• Ability to work in a team environment

• Excellent problem-solving skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively

• Proactive in identifying and addressing security threats

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

• Relevant certifications in Cyber Security would be advantageous.
