Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Licensed Industrial Electricians for projects located in the Notrees, TX area . This is a first & third shift opportunity, and the pay rate is up to $38.50/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:
Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install electrical conduit using such tools as a hacksaw pipe threader rules and conduit benders
Install control and distribution apparatus such as switches relays and circuit- breaker panels and fastens in place with crews or bolts using hand or power tools
Test continuity of circuit to insure electrical compatibility and safety of components using testing instruments such as ohmmeter battery and buzzer and oscilloscope
Observe functioning of installed equipment or system to determine hazards and need for adjustments relocation or replacement
Disassemble and repair defective electrical equipment or systems
Read and interpret electrical drawings, panel schedules, and schematics
Installation of cable trays of all sizes
Use of fluke meters and megger devices
Cable termination up to 500 Kcmil
Requirements
Journeyman Electrician License or Apprentice Electrician License with 5+ years of Industrial Construction/Maintenance experience required
NCCER Certification preferred
Must pass drug screen
Ability to fabricate and install rigid & aluminum E.M.T. plasti-bond and P.V.C. conduit
Ability to use mechanical benders use hydraulic benders 2 4 fabricate and install conduit supports
Ability to do wire and cable installation by hand by machine and in cable trays
Proficiency with 555 (triple nickel) benders and 535 threading machines
Competence in bending and running conduit of all sizes
Must provide personal hand tools and a toolbox
