Description

We are actively seeking a Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team based in Norwood, Massachusetts. We are seeking an experienced bookkeeper or accountant who can reconcile accounts, perform month-end close processes, and prepare financial reports for multiple clients across various industries.

The ideal candidate has prior experience in a CPA firm or outsourced accounting environment, is proficient in QuickBooks Online and Desktop, and understands GAAP principles.

We are looking for a detail-oriented problem solver who can take ownership of the books, ensure accuracy, and communicate effectively with clients and internal team members. Experience with financial statement analysis, adjusting journal entries, and cash flow management is highly preferred.

Responsibilities:

Perform month-end and year-end close processes, including adjusting journal entries

Reconcile bank, credit card, loan, and intercompany accounts

Review and analyze balance sheets and income statements for accuracy

Prepare financial reporting packages and assist with cash flow tracking

Ensure proper categorization of transactions and maintain clean general ledgers

Work directly with clients and internal team members to resolve discrepancies

Support the preparation of annual tax packages for CPA review

Assist with payroll entries and accruals as needed

Requirements

Requirements:

3 years of bookkeeping/accounting experience (CPA firm experience preferred)

Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting

Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop

Strong analytical skills and ability to identify financial discrepancies

Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills

Ability to manage multiple client books simultaneously

Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and journal entries

Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills

Experience with Bill.com, ADP RUN, or other cloud-based accounting tools is a plus
